# How to use Grok Bot > Closer to hiring a teammate than opening a chat box. Start with one empty Bot, show a job once, then grow the team. Closer to hiring a teammate than opening a chat box. One empty Bot, show a job once, then grow the team. ## Steps 1. **Check access** — Early beta ships with SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium. Enterprise is a waitlist. If the app will not open, start with the plan. 2. **Install the app** — Desktop (macOS) or iOS. The same thread continues on both. Bots keep a cloud computer, so work does not stall when you close the laptop. 3. **Make one empty Bot** — Name it. Setup can be short. Do not build a whole team on day one. Pick a daily job: inbox or a morning brief. 4. **Paste setup text** — Copy a listing from the directory. It already has the job, the bar for good work, the never-do list, and a first task. 5. **First task is drafts only** — Send, delete, and pay stay off. Read the result. Widen the scope only after that looks right. 6. **Humans type tool logins** — When a Bot reaches mail, CRM, or calendar, a login wall appears. Passwords, SSO, 2FA, and CAPTCHAs stay with you. Sessions live on the computer. If Bots share that computer, they share sessions. 7. **Show it once, then save a skill** — Let it watch a workflow, then save how. Routines (when) wait until the skill exists. Cap 50 routines per Bot. Duplicate Bot does not copy learned memory. 8. **Then add a Nexus or an Orchestrator** — Put a router (Nexus) or a sequencer (Orchestrator) in so you are not the paste middleman. Specialists keep one lane. They pass work in a group chat and pull you in for judgment only. ## Official downloads - macOS: https://cursor.com/bot/onboarding - iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/grok-bot/id6794501026 - Pricing: https://x.ai/bot Human page: https://getgrokbot.com/en/how-to Directory: https://getgrokbot.com/en
